Passenger heater problems

I have a 08 f450 lariat v10 and the passenger side won't come off high heat and the drivers side works fine what could be causing this?

Sounds like a classic case of the blend door regulator. Mine cost around $800.00 parts and labor (they changed both blend doors and regulators).

When you say wont come off High are you describing the fan speed or air temp? Two different problems. I assume you have dual zone climate controls? If its air temp yes its the $30 actuator motor. If its the fan speed its the $20 inline resistor PCB. I have a tech write up on the R&R of the single climate control blend door actuator. I think in both cases the hardest (maybe most intimidating) thing to do is to power down and back up the air bag, simple once you read up on it. The entire job took me 2 hours and $30. Not sure on the dual zone but it calls for exploratory surgery on the dash with either system which isn't bad IMO. Just do a search here and Google and most importantly for safety read up on how to safely R&R the air bag.
The resistor PCB is even easier.
