No Air Flow

Ok i have a 91 ranger with a 4.0 my problem is that even with the fan on high very little are movement comes through the vents. The pan works good i took it out and checked it the blend door works fine and the gate to switch positions works so i really dont know what else it could be if any one has any ideas i would really apriaciat it thanks.

Have you checked the resistor set that is in the air plenum on the engine side of the firewall. It sounds like the high speed circuit is bad. If that is the problem, the replacement part is easy to replace and isn't very expensive. Most any auto parts store will carry the part.

No all the speeds work its just that there is very little air flow no matter what setting its on high or low but the fan works on all settings

Well if the fan motor is running at normal speeds with each setting, then it sounds like the heater core air passages are clogged up with debris.

Or maybe the ducting behind the dash has come loose.

Or maybe a critter has built a nest in there!!!!

If the fan motor speed doesn't change much with different speed selections, then you likely have an electrical problem, maybe with the resistor pack, or corrosion at it's electrical terminal connections.

More thoughts to ponder.
