I am looking for the fresh air vent housing..... the one i took out is broke where two of the screw tighten down to the heater box.
This is the housing with the flip open Fresh air vent. If none are available....then i was hoping that the gasket for the flip vent flap and the two gaskets that seals the fresh air vent to the heater box and the one that seals to the cab are available somewhere.
1978 F250 4x4 400 Manual, Dealer Installed Air
Any help is appreciated

This manual should cover A/C http://www.ebay.com/itm/1978-Ford-Truck-Shop-Manual-Volume-3-4-Body-Electrical-/151013658200?pt=Motors_Manuals_Literature&hash=item23291d8e58&vxp=mtr
Or you can get all 5 manuals on CD I think for $30 on ebay ..
You can find a used whole unit for sure on the vent .. Just get it from a lower temperature part of the country and the seals should be good .. I'll look and see what I have and get back to you .. I would like to hear from Numberdummy to see if they are the same number between an air cab and one without ..

Thanks again Red. I was looking at this on ebay, and while I was there, I found a Mitchell 1969-1978 Domestic Cars and Light Truck Vacuum Manual. When I worked for Chrysler, along with the Dealer manuals, they also had Mitchell manuals. I believe Mitchell manuals to be just about as good as Dealer manuals. Another really good manual is Motor. I have a Motor Repair manual that covers all domestic trucks and tractors from 1971-1979. And, I also have a Motor Automatic Transmission manual that covers those same years. I love Ebay! LOL!
The electrical was a separate set of pages and the vacuum lines were a separate volume that covered emissions systems.
