Okay so i really like the look of the 06 girlle. was wondering if i need to modify anything to put it on or will it just bolt up in place of the original?
heres a picture of the one im talking about.
there's a thread somewhere around here, just cant find it. But jist is, to cut 3/8in off bottom, and it'll bolt right up...(tabs at bottom, either use zipties to re-lock in or screws from old grille to work). the pic you show, is with the 05-07 bumper also

just want the grille though lol dont care for the look of those bumpers. trim the bottom of??
theres a bunch of outfitters on EBAY that sell the 05-07 grill that fits directly onto your truck without modifying. I asked the same question when i bought my truck lol.
Watch those Ebay sellers guys.....they IMPLY that the grille they modify IS a FACTOORY FORD unit, but in reality its a chineese reproduction which lacks quality the FORD grille has.

Umm unless your a complete F.N.G. to ebay you should already expect it to not be ford oem product. Just my 2 cents, I've read many reviews from numerous other people on these aftermarket 05-07 grilles for the 99-03 fronts and there were more good reviews then bad. Just sayin...........
i did look into these and ive always been a little skeptical about ebay stuff fitting to things they say there supposed to fit to, but since a few guys have had good luck i might actually go this route as i would probably fudge something up on the oem grille cutting it. any recommended sellers for these on ebay?
