missing aldl
Ok this one's got me. Customer with a 4/95 fi50 4.9 liter 4x4, and I can't find the aldl to save my life, or my reputation. Anybody else run into this. I will say these trucks are equipped with county installed gps's as they are run on the beach. They are hot dog vendor trucks, and apparently the county used the gps data to verify their location on the beach. Not sure I know why, but they pay a hefty price to have these installed, but it appears to be stand alone, not tied to the vehicle ecm. So I spent a solid hour looking for it, and mitchell says it's under the pass side dash. not, nor is it anywhere under the dash. Am I missing something?

Have you looked under the hood, near the drivers side hood hinge? If it's an OBDI system, it should look like the ones in this article.

Under dash , under hood , both ! If converson , It could be anywhere . A friend has a 95 camper . It took us a half hour ( and a few suds ) to find the data connector . It was by the e brake peddle assy ! Stuffed up in there .
