Got the AIS

I put in the AIS today. The only hard part was getting it in with the coolant filter. I had to take the filter off of the base to get the AIS in. Other than that it was easy. First impressions are good. It's quieter when you left off the throttle. Less WOOOOOOSSHHH. More turbo.

Why not just relocate the coolant filter (with valves) to the forward part of one of the front wheel wells?

Make sure you use your factory filter minder. The one that comes with the AIS is overly sensitive.

Isn't that AIS nice? I always prefer the sound in my cab when compared with those who "6637 up".

It has a spin-on-filter right on the pump

No need for a coolant filter kit and the lines running here and there and getting in the way of maintenance and mods.

Haha, yeah. Well when I weighed the pros and cons it wasn't worth the effort for the T444E for me personally however I still think its a good option for some people.
