Power Steering Pump
Hey all, my power steering pump is making noise and after long highway cruises my steering will get really stiff. Occasionally the brake pedal is also stiff. My guess is the pump is going out. My truck is an 07 with the 6.0 PSD. What kind of job am I looking at to change it? Any special procedures with the hydroboost brakes?

Hi,
It helps if you have a vacuum fill system when you refill the system.
Have you tried a flush on it? Also after you get it replaced if you do
make sure to put a filter in the line to catch any crap in the system.
