Thanks for the confidence in my mechanical ability! It s all a allusion !!!
This truck has sucked the life out of me
The resin I'm building a old school rig is I need a back up truck for my problem child 6.0
I have pulled down codes from my stc tuner before . Will that work to tell me what's wrong this time?
Well once you can see live data 90% of the time a Fix can be determined
that scan gauge can check the HPO System the FICM and the Sensors that control turbo and More
once you can see Live data a Code isnt a Must
We have Operating specs for all the sensors/systems
once you get a Gauge we can tell you how to and what to check
Looks like the Guys Vote FICM
Most of the time a FICM wont just all the sudden Die!!Normaly they start to have a Hard time Starting when Cold and you would have rough running with Smoke issue
So just for FUN here I will say HPO Problem (STC Fitting on the HPOP)
My truck did the same but would restart when it cooled down. We never did come to a full conclusion but probably the IPR valve as the screen was sucked in. So we did everything including head studs.
A FICM I thought would still produce smoke if it was bad
