Dummy plugs or standpipes, would be my first guess.

X2 what Chet said plus I will add a possible STC fitting. Try letting it cool down for an hour or so and try restarting it after it cools down.

Part of the HPOP system, the o-rings fail. There are newer revised parts you need to replace ASAP.

Ford 6.0 Updated Injector Rail Plugs AKA "Dummy Plugs"
My wife came and got me . I had the truck towed to my ford dealer. I m ging to go down there and see if it will start now . If it does start what would that mean, that my stc is bad? And is the hpop hard to get to?

Yes, but there's much more to it, first if you want to do this yourself, keep reading about bullet proofing your 6.0. if you want to go cheap you can try just changing the Dummy plugs and standpipes to see if that fixes it. My STC fitting was already changed before I bought my truck but I did the oil cooler/ EGR cooler and was already in that far.

I saw your thread in that Link in your sig

You could have fixed this I see you like to wrench some there not to bad to deal with normaly

Might as well let Ford fix it this time

But Look into getting a Gauge to read Live data and we can walk you threw the trouble shooting part and Repair next time

I use a ScanGaugeII it 160.00 from autozone
It will show all engine sensors and even some trans sensors
check it out here www.scangauge.com

We could have checked a Few sensors and NArrowed it down

We might of even been able to unplug a Sensor and got it to run

And Welcome to the 6.0L Club

My truck died just like yours & it was the FICM.
Pulled out of the gas station after fill up a couple propane tanks & it just died in the middle of an intersection.
Cranked fine, sputtered once, black smoke then '0'.

I vote for FICM (Fuel Injection Control Module)
Have a look in the tech folder at the FICM testing.
All you need is a few smaller torx bits and a volt
meter. Also a helper would be handy.
