Could you provide more details of "i am constantly struggling with electronics issues"? Have you checked for codes? Why did you replace the original engine?

Why would you want to back to a carb? Fuel Injection is so much better. I agree with above post more details, & why a second engine.

What issues? Did you pull codes? What exactly was the old engine doing? Did you reuse the harness from your old engine when you did the swap? Reuse the sensors? PCM?

You can go to carb. It's zap-proof and easier to work on if you have no experience with electrical systems, but the downside is that it's less efficient and also requires adjustments once in a while. They have their own set of problems too... my favorite is when the #?*! float sticks and dumps gas everywhere.

Yeah carbs can definitely have their downsides. For example if you run a dirty fuel filter for too long eventually you're going to have to pull the carb, take it apart and clean it. And they like to get dirty when you're out somewhere else.
