biggest carb

whats the biggest carb you can put on a stock 302 and what happens if you put on a carb that is really small or way to big?

You can put any carb on any engine and it will run, however, it may not run so good. Too much cfm, no bottom end, too little no top end..in either case you would hate the engines performance. A 600cfm will work well on a stock engine and still be fine if you modify it some. Later
