I'm having an off-road shop I've used in the past do the install, but I want to order the parts myself to make sure I get the best.
Two questions:
1. Here are two sets I found on RockAuto. Of the two, which would you go with (or should I look for something else?). I'm assuming it's better to stick with same brand for both uppers & lowers but not sure if that's necessary

>MOOG Part # K8195T Problem Solver - One of our most popular parts $25ea

2. Since I'm ordering and installing b/j's, are there any other related parts/extras I should look into?
Moog is a tad better, my opinion. Spicer/Dana Chassis (now Raybestos owned - boo hoo) dropped their lifetime warranty and now only has a three year warranty on their premium line. Moog is lifetime. Frankly, I think both Spicer and Moog are chinese made. is there anything that is NOT chinese made?
I've heard both good and bad on the newer Moogs, some saying the quality has slipped somewhat over the past few years. ... Man, hard to choose between almost any brands these days with all the Chinese outsourcing going on.
Yes. Both Moog and Spicer have the zerk fittings. That can be another matter. I've seen those grease fittings, which always come separately packaged, have lousy threads and strip easily. On some of the AC Delco Performance line of front end parts, the polymer was polyurethane. U would need to use synthetic grease for them.
I have used all kinds of brands, and my experience was the OEM (usually motocraft or spicer) yielded a longer life. We have put autozone valucraft in a f350 powerstroke and they have lasted very well for years or abuse with 35" tires. I have also had no bad luck with autozone's higher line of "DURALAST". Whatever NAPA was selling a few years back was not very good. My orielly has motocraft I think. Good luck.
I always try to use moog for suspension parts. I think most of their stuff is made in the usa, but i'm not sure whether or not they outsource parts. I will NOT use house brands anymore unless I have to.
