01 Escape fuel problem
Need some help tracking the fuel system on the escape. I just picked up a not running XLT 3.0 the guy had sheets from the stealership saying the cats were clogged. Typical story of a guy cleaning his engine and cashing a coil pack. I dont know if the pack has been replaced.
I cut the cat and cleared the clogged combs. Turned the key just cranking. I poked the fuel rail there was no pressure. it sounds like the fuel pump is buzzing when you turn the key.
I'm going to try shooting fuel into the intake tomorrow to see if it really is a fuel problem.
