I have a late 99 F350 with sagging front springs. Looking at the X codes from Ford. I know I need to order the U bolts. Is there anything else I need to source before I start the job? I searched this topic and really cant find any definitive answer on whether or not a longer or adjustable track bar is required. Any input would be greatly apprieciated.
An adjustable trac bar will make the install easier. It not necessary but will make all the suspension geometry correct. I would purchase one if funds are available.
Other than that your are good to go. Post up picks when done

It is not required. Swapping in the X code springs is straight-forward.
Remove the front bumper (4 bolts) to access the front spring eye bolts on each side to remove the springs.
Good to hear. Can't really afford to dump much more money into this at the present. Now that the warm(er) weather is here I can drive the Mustang every day and do some much needed work to the truck. I'm waiting for Tousley to call me back Monday with an accurate shipping quote. My local dealer wouldn't come off of the full list price. Oh well.
With just the x code up front and stock in the rear can I run 315/75/16's without any issues?
Almost a year later and I'm getting ready to do this...The question above still stands...I have a set of Weld 16x10 rims I was going to put those tires on. Will they fit or rub? OR should I keep my stock rims and run a 295 or 305 on those? Decisions, decisions....
Can't tell you on the tires, let me know how much rougher it rides if any. My CC needs a set of springs also. Its an e99.
I've done alot of reading on this subject as of late. I know that there is a few differences in the front axle between early and late 99. Even some of the late 99 had some oddball parts. I would have to run a load leveler up front to fit the 35's.....With the price of diesel going up, I'm leaning toward not lifting it right now and keeping the stock tire size. I'll update as I do it though.
