Finally got a little funds to throw at the truck and don't know which map sensor to get for the truck. I'm looking on eBay and there's these three 2001 Ford MAP sensor diesel | eBay
So which one should I get? I know someone's gonna say buy one from parts guy ed.... I know it's double the price and I'm sure the same thing. Just because I have a small round to load in the buckzooka doesn't mean I wanna blast away
I am in the market for a "3 Bar" MAP. My goal is to dump the boost gauge off the dash, get rid of the boost fooler, and have the MAP calibrated to read my real boost on the OBDII.

I see you and I have the same goals how do I go about having it calibrated?

I've been told it's an easy process... by a person who has access to the PCM. It may be possible through my Hydra, I'm unsure. I'll get more details. I just said what I had in mind and the feedback was "one of the easier things to do once you have the voltage reading with a known pressure".
Alright so should I pull the trigger on any of these three I noted? Or should I suck it up and go to ed? He doesn't have options just one for double the price with no p/n so I can't go by that and cross reference to the eBay parts.
John, I don't know if this helps but Cody said Matt at gearhead had different map sensors. Mitt give him a call. I think that's what Cody was running. I don't think they got rid of the boost fooler but they could tune to a wider band I guess.
