Hey guys I have a 94 E150, it is misfiring like crazy and jerking under acceleration. At idle you can feel the engine misfire as well. I can feel my van jerking the most under low acceleration. My check engine light turns on when I drive so I checked it and I got code 332 for KOER. I got no codes for KOEO.. I know it has to do with insufficient egr flow. I checked it and I noticed that the green hose was broken so I taped it up good. I also applied vacuum to the egr and the car almost wanted to stall but it wouldn't. Isn't the car supposed to stall to verify that the egr is working properly? After I taped the green hose, the check engine light would not turn on anymore but the car still jerks
I recently replaced my spark plugs 2 months ago. Do you think I should replace my wires, cap and rotor? I think the egr valve is bad because my van wouldn't stall, but no check engine light is on anymore. Please help me guys.
I would start by double checking your work when you did the plugs. And yes if it hasn't been done the rotor, cap and wires should be replaced. You could have a cracked rotor, broken plug or simply a wire that came loose.
