Nothing done today just running sea foam and 91 octane through on my trips to go get beer and food. Aired the tires down to 45 to soften the ride and it did some good.

ive been thinking this engine is a 1970's era medium duty 429. Swapped in a hi-torque starter from summit and it starts just as nice as a new truck now.

Now working on the other dually rear fender...

Today I replaced the wiper motor, linkages and pivot nuts. Before it was just a mess of missing parts and non op motor.

Also replaced the front turn signals with the original (I think?) stratolite ones off the first parts truck and the front one-wire marker housings from the same truck. All got new bulbs and lenses (markers are now LED). Tail lights got new lenses as well and are now wired into the bed.

Next on the list are in-cab fuel tank install and then down the road, get the crew cab body finished and installed with 70's vintage cab mounting hardware and poly bushings (nothing but the best)

I have no cab mounts at all now it's just the metal on metal deal same with the radiator support which is mounted with a rusty bolt in the middle.

Got her registered. Found a clean in cab tank, cleaned it with acetone. Found a garbage tailgate just to hold me over. Started prepping the fenders for the other dually fender fabrication.

I like those rear fenders, I need to come up with something like that for my truck. Been thinking of something like you're doing, it's nice to actually see it done.
The whole truck is a really cool project!

Great looking project. They offered a 22.5 8 lug tubless wheel. I have 2 for sale, might be a pita to find the rest though. Was that a shameless plug for selling my wheels? O well..........I just wanted to save them from the crusher. Keep up the good work.

I am in full agreement with Collin. The rear fenders look like a factory job. I'll be on the lookout for some of those for you Collin next time we get to Vashon. BTW, My brother in law just got a job at the bone factory. Only you will know what that is.....
