Wait...no...I used the thermal barrier on the roof and not the luxury liner...you can see all I used on "My Excursion Remodel" post thread on this forum.
I used:
2 shop packs Damplifier Pro
1 Trunk Pack of Damplifier Pro
10 sheets Luxury Liner Pro
8 Heat Wave
5 Cans Second Skin Contact Spray Adhesive
2- 150 foot roll foil insulation tape
Back then, I paid about $1200 for all of it.

I think I used 4 of the “b” stock kits, doubled it up in some areas. 9 sheets of the luxury liner pro and 8 of the heat wave pro for the roof. Petty much same results as peace2peeps with the exception of the front cab getting quiet. I am sure his 6.0 is a lot quieter then my 7.3. It does stay a lot cooler/warmer inside now which is a big plus. As for the interior demensions realy no change there other then the extra work to get all the panels back on. Definitely use second skins glue.
I did did under the hood also.
I am sure the gassers willl notice a big difference in sound.
I am prolly $1800 into mine. A lot of time and bloody / sore hands.

It’s called Spectrum and Spectrum sludge (applied with a brush or by hand). From what I’ve read, most prefer the Damplifier product where possible. There’s a YouTube video of them using only Spectrum on an 69 GTO rebuild project.
