On my way to work this morning I got an engine light. Got to work used the scangaugeII to pull the codes. Got a P0470. (engine exhaust back pressure fault). Where can I find this sensor? What cost am I looking at and if anyone has a part number. Mike, any help!
Thanks
The EBP sensor is on the driver side connected to the exhaust manifold by a steel tube. Check the tube for plugging, but the code pretty much indicates it's a faulty sensor.
Hey, at least your Scangauge II can read the codes. Mine can't read squat, so I just use it like most everyone else to monitor different metrics.
Here's a link to a decent price on the EBP sensor. Did you hear your turbo kick out? When my EBP sensor went bad, boost went to zero and the exhuast made a drone sound.
