Just returned from Vegas in March. I had a blast but I was with the whole family and stayed at Circus Circus. Make sure you hit the Bungy Jump for a little rise in heart rate and spend a night walking the strip taking in all the free shows. Make sure you head out to the old strip for the over head light show also. Cabs are the best way to get around. The best resturant we ate at was the Kuhunaville at Treasure Island.
One of the better places to eat in vegas is Rosewood Grill. Its on the strip. It is a little pricey, but well worth it. One thing to remember about vegas is there is no last call. I dont know how many time I came out of a bar and found the sun coming up. Dont gamble more than you can afford to lose. Most important of all is to have fun.
Where are you staying? I agree about the Treasure Island show, its excellent. One hotel that is a must to visit is the Venetian, VERY impressive. And don't forget to visit the volcano across the street.
Baileys. I've actually been to Vegas a couple of times but have always felt like I only scratched the surface. Thought I'd go armed with suggestions this time.
Danny Gaines. A must see. He does one show a night at the Mirage. Saw him when we were there end of March and the first part of April. Nonstop laughter, from start to finish. He does about 90 minutes. Had good luck on the video poker at the Excaliber. Loved the breakfast buffet in the basement of the Luxor. You already know about those cute cards the folks are handing out on the sidewalks right,? Tram was only working between Mandaly Bay and Excaliber. New York New York had many great eating establishments. But if at all possible see Danny. You can order/reserve tickets on line. Do it right away as he does sell out ever show.
