Wink Motorcraft 750cca Battery Warranty??

Anyone know the warranty period for these? I bought 2 on 8/3/2010 and I think they are getting weak.....I can't seem to find anything online-I wrote "100 month warranty" on my receipt evedentally because its what the battery distributor told me at the time.......seems I have heard about a 2 OR 3 year free replacement??

When I used to buy Motorcraft batteries, they were 3 year free replacement from date of original purchase. I am not sure if they still carry the same warranty though...

I put the Bosch 1000cca batteries in my truck from Pep Boys. They prorate different then most auto parts stores I have seen. When you exchange and it pay the difference there the warranty starts over as new. Other places they might exchange your battery but it still is only warrantied from the date of original purchase. That is worth it to me, even if it is Pep Boys. I used to get them at Costco till they quit carrying the size I use in my Cummins.
Yes I said the c word on a Ford forum...

My local ROYAL BATTERY dealer suggested aganst buying the 850cca battery because he has many come back early due to the extra plates jambed into the same size case as a 750cca a-he said the 850 couldn't do its job right w/o some breathing room.....never heard that before or since.....

Guys, I thought I'd tack back on my thread about the warranty with anouther question:

The darn battery(s)?? have now failed. waited too long to get therm and charging system checked......

I have the charger on 1 right now, do I need to disconnect the batteries individually to charge them or am I ok just hooking up to 1...darn it!!

You can hook up to one and charge both at the same time. It will take the same amount of time to charge both as if you did individually.

I just bought a Optima Red Top 2 days ago from AA and they are a 3 yr free replacement and thats it. No more warranty or prorated batteries. They said that is the new norm.

I'm going to make my battery guy give me the 850s this time, I think he was smoking something the day he told me the story about the 850s....they WERE cheaper too!! just a sales upgrade ploy if you ask me!

750 cca are to small for are trucks and always go weak before there time. Get the largest CCA battery you can find for your truck. They will last the entirer warranty period most generally.

Went and had them check the batteries and charging system, alternator is charging fine, both batteries past the load check, but failed the hydrometer checks-BOTH had bad cells....BOTH had 2 bad cells!!
This is unacceptable performance from suposedly quality batteries.
Yea, they replaced them, STILL wouldn't upgrade me to the 850s-STILL says the 850s are problematic due to the case size, said they fail within 18 months, I asked if HE had a better battery I could upgrade to, HE said "no" and that the Motorcraft 750cca was the best battery I could buy for my truck.
They, (ROYAL BATTERY, PALM BAY, FLORIDA) wouldn't give me any paperwork for the swap out and nastilly said I could not get any more "free" batteries from this warranty, well I've got 6 months left of THEIR warranty, but I've got batteries that are stamped with a date and as far as I am concerned WHEN they fail I"ll go to a FORD dealer and have them swap them out, claim I don't have the receipt.
Johnson controls has way more $$ than I do, and they should be able to provide me with a set of batteries that will last more than 2.5 years!

Is this the battery you got at Pep Boys? What the hell does 850/1000 cca mean? I've never seen a battery spec like that...sheltered life out here in the sticks!

EDIT: Answered my own question... The 850 cca is at 0 degrees F and the 1000 cca is at 32 degrees F.

Actually it was the group 78/34dt battery that I run in my Cummins, I use the side terminals for other electrical connections.
I have Duralast Gold tops in my F450... I am not impressed with them. I bought the first set a little over 2 years ago and they have been warrantied out twice in 2 years, my truck does not have charging issues at all. The it just seems that one battery goes bad and takes the other one with it, there is no rhyme or reason to it, as it is not the same battery every time. (drivers vs passenger)
