Hey Guys, I decided to check for boost leaks just for good measures. While checking I found a leak from the sensor in the bottom of the spider. I have searched the forum and can't seem to fiqure out what this sensor is. The air leak is out of the sensor itself NOT the threads. The sensor is the one on the bottom not the AIH.
What is this sensor called and what does it do and is it one that can eliminated and plug.

Thanks a million
Sounds like you are talking about the air charge temperature sensor.
The little elbow fitting that has a hose for the MAP sensor can sometimes leak as well. I've actually seen cases where those just fall out of the spider.
Yes that's the one. I did see where the little hose was leaking and I was able to fix that. So I guess I need to fiqure out if I need to replace the sensor or just plug it.
