Steering gear box lines
One of my friends is having issues getting the powersteering gear box lines back on his 2000 SD. Any one know what may be causing the issues. It looks like there is a brass peace that will not allow the lines to sit down on the threads.

Is he sure that he got the lines for the correct date truck? I know with the OBS trucks there is a cutoff date of 8/10-8-/11 (day) and they used a new style hose on trucks before and after these days. It may be something similar with a SD, but the SD forum would probably tell you better than I can.
