I just did a box and pump swap on my 97 350. I believe that I used a 5/8 wrench on the lines going into the box and a 18mm for the one on the pump. But this was on a 97. That was a transition year. Did you know my truck used the same steering box that a early Super Duty used? That also means that my lines are different than 96 and older trucks (O-ring on mine vs flare fittings on yours). But the sizes should be the same because a used a AGR box for a 96. I just had to remove the flare insert.

i thought it was 5/8s but when i look online they say its a 5/16 and summit doesnt sell 5/16 connectors. im trying to do a hydroboost swap and i need to make custom lines so i need a connector for the gear box. can anyone help? has anyone done custom lines and have a p/n or something thanks.
