Yuuuuuuuup! My weekend starts tonight! I have to leave for the airport around 1000-1030 to pickup my dad. Gonna be a long night! I have to return him to the airport on Sunday for a 0115 flight. Monday will be VERY long for this guy.
Now to add to the stress. I tried to buy some groceries this afternoon. The clerk said that my Visa was declined..........hmmmmmm.....strange. So I used my Debit card and called as soon as I got to the car. It appears someone in Egypt (or an Egypt website) tried to book a travel to Germany in the tune of $5000! WTF! I told her ABSOLUTLEY NOT! She said that the every so awesome Capital One stopped the transaction from going thru so we were not charged. They cancelled the card and issued new one and they should be here in a day or two. They ROCK! But I am a bit concerned that someone hacked my info somewhere.
I have had that happen two or three times over the years. Never had a dispute with the CC company.
Good evening all. My weekend has started and we are supposed to have Allie tomorrow until about noon.
Sorry for the delayed reply......dang laptop doesn't like FTE sometimes and closes the browser.
Anyhoo, they are more than working with us. They never went through so nothing to dispute. As a matter of fact they apologized for denying the grocery transaction. I thanked them for catching it before it was charged.
