Good morning everyone!! Interesting morning at work already.
The "camper" guy will never get anything for it as a "camper." If he strips it and sells it as a trailer, he might get $300 for it. Sadly, that looks like something my father-in-law would make. It doesn't look like he even used green treated wood, so it'll be rotted in a couple years if it gets wet at all.
Yuuuuuuuup! My weekend starts tonight! I have to leave for the airport around 1000-1030 to pickup my dad. Gonna be a long night! I have to return him to the airport on Sunday for a 0115 flight. Monday will be VERY long for this guy.
Now to add to the stress. I tried to buy some groceries this afternoon. The clerk said that my Visa was declined..........hmmmmmm.....strange. So I used my Debit card and called as soon as I got to the car. It appears someone in Egypt (or an Egypt website) tried to book a travel to Germany in the tune of $5000! WTF! I told her ABSOLUTLEY NOT! She said that the every so awesome Capital One stopped the transaction from going thru so we were not charged. They cancelled the card and issued new one and they should be here in a day or two. They ROCK! But I am a bit concerned that someone hacked my info somewhere.
What a mess with your credit card. Good thing your company is working good with you. We have had that trouble before and all charges were dropped and never any issues afterwards so hopefully the same for you.
That sucks Cory. Even if the charge had gone through, you're not liable for more than $50 if the transaction was fradulent. I've been down this road before as well with Credit Card companies. Most are pretty good to work with. I had to fight with one company over a period months while I disputed some charges. I was disputing the charges, but they somehow thought I should pay the interest and late fees associated with the charges. Ummmm ... NO.
