Not to pick on you Dustin but that will mean you want the ground to freeze...faster...
ha. friggen english. it's hard.
I want it to thaw faster... LOL
edit:
or wait...
dethaw verbbecome orcauseto become soft or liquid; "The sun melted the ice"; "the ice thawed"; "theice cream melted"; "The heat melted the wax"; "The giant iceberg dissolvedovertheyears during the global warming phase"; "dethaw the meat" [syn: dissolve]
so thaw is a noun, and dethaw is a verb... umm... English really is hard... LOL
I sometimes say "unthaw" and a friend of mine likes to correct me on it. (mostly because I correct him ALL the time.LOL)

unthaw has the same definition of thaw, which is the same as dethaw...
I went to a different dictionary site and it did not recognize unthaw so it may not really be a proper word. Same with dethaw I would guess. All depends on how liberal they are I think. Look at all the slang they put in the dictionaries each year.
yeah, cause if you do that, the dark ground will absorb more of the suns energy and dethaw the ground faster.
And increase global warming driving the price of oil up (because less volume sold not needed for heating) and shortening my already too short snowmobile season. Need the snow to deflect sun back up.
