Well folks I am back from the dead. Needed to get things going in the right direction. Had an appointment with a new PM doctor and he thinks I might have what is called piriformus syndrome. It is a muscle that can be damaged by surgeries to a point that it curls up in a ball. The sciatic nerve runs right behind it and can cause the same symptoms as a herniated disc. I am waiting for the next step to be approved and then they will inject lidocaine in the muscle and see if the pain goes away. If it does or if it at least lessens the pain then I will go back in and get a botox shot which might fix it for good. Other than that the not much else happening. My sister had kidney surgery, she was having too many problems with the urethra tube so they transplanted the kidney to her abdomen. She is recovering pretty good, its been about a month... Talk to you folks tomorrow or should I say later today.....
Since you didn't buy it from them, they don't care. Can you get warranty coverage on it? I haven't had warranty on my since I bought it, but they let me activate the warranty so I could get it replaced.
I should be able to call Samsung and deal with them on it.
Replacing the hard drive on my brother's laptop. What a pain the ****. This is exactly why I won't buy a consumer grade laptop. Something that would be a 30 second swap on my corporate grade laptop is going to take me 15 minutes on my brother's.
What make/model?
The Toshibas I buy for work are a piece of cake. 2 screws off the back cover and then 2 screws holding the drive in.

I may have to shove the phone up or down some orifice there...

It's a Dell Inspiron n5010. I have a Dell latitude for work. Much much easier. One screw and the caddy comes out. The Inspiron, I have to take the keyboard and entire top cover off.

Whoa, whoa! Are you trying to look like Joan Rivers or something?!?
Raining here, just a slushy mess outside. Snowmobile might have to stay inside for now.
I got the sled buttoned up EXCEPT for the trailing arm bolt. I started to drill it out and decided to take a break. That is gonna take a while. I think I might take the bolt out of the other side to see how long it is. That will give me an idea of how long it will take.
