On my 5.4 i dont think it really did much for MPGs, but the shifting points/firmness was definitely something i noticed, and it felt like i gained mid range-top end power. I only ran on an 87 performance tune too, never got to try the higher octane ones
Kind of wish i had a V10 just because ive heard custom tunes really wake those things up
Idk, isnt the term "unlocked" use when its not still currently tuning a vehicle. Either way, it was from my old truck, which i set back to stock programming before i sold it. So i think its "unlocked". $200?
Hrmmm....try this:

Sounds like I am going to PA to get a transfer case. Not my first choice, but there haven't been any for sale anywhere near here. This is the closest one I have found, and by far the most reasonable price.
Depending on how far into PA it is it should be a doable day trip especially in the econo car you have. I went to the outskirts of Philly to get the rust free body panels (the blue and white) on my truck in a day from another FTE'er
Yeah, it's in Jessup, which is just outside of Scranton. Only about a 3 hour drive. He said he has plenty of other 80-86 ford parts, so maybe I will come out with more. We'll see what happens.
About 5 inches when I left Tolland this morning. Five cars off the road on the way to work. Thats a lot sinse that time of the morning there are mostly trucks on the road.
there were some cool looking swirly skid marks all over 9 this morning. i guess there was a 2 car fatal crash on 9 around 2pm.

Headed out tomorrow afternoon I think. I was going to make it a trip down to my grandparents' place as well, but I don't think that's going to happen. So it will be a quick trip out and back.
