well I read your other post so we are talking about a P0299 boost issue

do you have a Gauge

if not get a scangaugeII from autozone so we can check it out

without a Gauge we will be Guessing

you can post the video if you want but I have a pretty good idea what your talking about

Even with the video all anyone can do is guess so this is where the Gauge comes in

IDK i think the video will basicaly be worthless

Get the Gauge I think its your best bet and we will try to fix the truck

The bright side is even my 11 year old can pull the turbo. Lol

Ya we really need to look at some live data Here

But atleast we can rule Dirty turbo out

you have 3 pressure sensors if 1 is bad will result in your problems

Without a Gauge you may as well take it to the dealer and it might endup there anyway I hope not though

Do you have a Gauge and posted the BARO--MAP--EBP Sensor values somewhere and I missed it???????????????????????

I dont know much about that particulair scanner but IIRC thats a GOOD ONE

Isnt it one the better snap-on scanners????

Post these Sensor vallues at KOEO=(Key On Engine Off)

BARO
MAP
EBP

I guess since you have to Borrow the Scanner lets get it ALL Now

OPERATING VALUES
Just make shure the numbers are taken exactly like this
Truck in PARK OR NEUTRAL all times during test
ECT at 190* or close to And EOT at 185* or higher
A/C OFF
----------------------------------------------------------------------------------
#1-------KOEO=Key On Engine Off =record EACH sensor value and POST IT!!
#2-------Low Idel (truck idel on its own)=record EACH sensor value and POST IT!!
#3-------High Idel (2500RPM)=record EACH sensor value and POST IT!!
ALL^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^ Taken in Park or Nuetral

Again for these sensor

BARO
MAP
EBP

what about your HPO problem is it Fixed?????????????Keep in mind Boost works from exhaust so everything before it must work properly

How ever if you have the P0299 and a HPO Problem I doubt they are relaited but tell us about the HPO Problen

I guess since you dont have the Scanner on Hand you can Pull and clean the EBP Sensor and Tube that feeds it

Its on the drivers side Exhaust manafold the tube and goes up to the sensor mounted by the Coolant bottle on the valve cover area

Use some carb cleaner to clean it and make shure the metal tube is clear as well

I see well that DTC relaites more to the EBP sensor than the turbo itself

the ebp sensor is what the PCM uses to Control turbo output on an 05+ AFAIK maybe some 04 But I am unshure and that dont affect this anyways

Yes replaced no luck checked for leaks. i didnt seem to find anything, felt around got under trick had my son rev but hard to hear cus i hear exhaust pipe. Do the up pipes oy y pipe prone to break or possibly just crack, if so i take it that not much of a leak can cause problem.

Underboost maybe? Check all your boots. I had a very, very small (under a 1/4") split on the bottom of the lower boot that caused a "whoosh" sound and limited boost (under 5-7 psi) under acceleration or load. I found it by feel, not sight. The split occurred after having the turbo replaced. Hope that helps.
