Yeah, it's going to be a C6. Nothing on the rear is in the VIN, for that you'll need the "AXLE" code on the warranty plate that's on the drivers door. Not sure about the HP rating either. '77 ? The s/n on the VIN says it's a '76.

That is a 9 inch ratio, seems a little low for a big block.... hmm. i believe the CU4 is the body config , but i dont remember what the E6 means. This is from memory. Maybe google can help from here. We'll get this before Mike logs back in

133 F F150 CU4 G 15
06150 1976 E6
WB 133= 133" wheelbase (longbed)
Color F= Dark Ginger Metallic
Model F150=F150 2WD pickup 6050 GVW
Body CU4= (CU) Tan vinyl and Tan cloth Ranger XLT (4) Styleside bed
Trans G= Automatic transmission
Axle 15= Ford 9" non-locking 3.25 3750 lb capacity
GVW 06150= 6150 lb GVW (I think this should actually be 06050)
1976=1976 model year
DSO E6= That DSO code doesn't exist. If it was B6 that would be the western district of Canada. American DSO's (District Sales Office) are two digit numbers.
Also, it looks like your truck has manual steering, if it's equipped with power steering there should be a "J" after the axle code (15J)
