I am building up a new motor for my '84 seen in the sig and am at kind of a standstill because i'm uncertain of what manifold I want.
Specs are
Comp 270H Cam
750 cfm Edelbrock carb
9.5 to 1 CR
Ported and polished '71 351w heads
I was at first looking at the Performer RPM Manifold but I've heard the power fades off too soon. I'm looking for something in the same RPM range though, 1500-6000. Any suggestions of is this what I should get?
I have'nt heard of mixture problems on the Air Gap intake only the rpm however that does'nt mean they do'nt exist. Cold weather should'nt bother the Air Gap at all as long as your not romping on it when it's cold(thats not good period). The Weiand Stealth intake is also a good intake and is good up to 6500 too.
