any info you need on the maf system is dependent on the computer you choose. ahaca will have different locations on the pcm than a9l. the computer determines a lot, which is why you want good support for the strategy you use.

I also stumbled across this, however the other gut is saying to use a slot style to.

take a look at this, there are several like this if you need a different tube diameter: http://pages.ebay.com/link/?nav=item.view&id=251486229391&alt=web
those are all for slot style maf, you can also find the same type of housing with the older style maf.
if you zoom in on the right of this pic, just past my air filter, is my sensor in the aluminum housing. http://www.imgur.com/qFBvqey.jpeg
