Could anyone provide suggestions on the best process to follow if I'd like to remove the FX4 decals from the bed of my truck? I'm not painting, so it has to be a clean removal without damaging the paint. I don't know why, I just want them off.
aww come on man..
Take the FX4 stickers off???
Best thing to do, if you want it to look clean and come off safe, is to take it to a bodyworks place...
I mean you can do it yourself with certain products but I rather put out alittle money and know nothing will be done wrong...
There are places around here that do that...I dunno about your area.....You could peal yourself with a winddecks removeal but i wouldn't do that...
I mean i rather pay alittle and get it done right, then try to do that myself and end up having to paint a few spots
Just my 02 cents hope you get it off clean..

I have two friends who removed all the decals and pin striping from their F150s using a hair dryer. One was 97 and he just removed everything including the 4X4 on the bed. He heated it up and pealed it off and you can not tell it was ever there. I remove all 4 of the dealer decals from mine using the same method.
3M makes a decal remover that works great for this. Its a 2 part process, first you spray the remover on, scrape the decal off with a plastic squeege, then you follow up with their adhesive remover. I've done this a number of times, always with good results.
Should be available at an automotive paint store.
