I live in mid maine not sure of my elevation. I finally got a response from a fellow member who says his truck does the same thing he's been trying to figure it out for awhile too odd thing he tells me it seems to be an 07 issue. So maybe its in the programing somewhere? And if it were wouldn't my custom written tune from PHP and my ficm tune change this? I know ford did change the programing with permission on us and PHP offers roll backs I may ask them to redo my tune and give me some roll backs for the ecm and ficm. Maybe this will change things. Keep me posted on the edge readings mustang!
I will give Edge products a call today and see if I can get a concrete answer to this question. If the EBP reading were that far out of range assuming that it is not reading correctly would it set a DTC? Also I am at about 4900 ft above sea level and I believe that you lose about .5 PSI per 1000 feet of increase in elevation.
Crap and I just bought the sensor yesterday! Thanks mustang for making the call. So what now if its reading right what else could be making the truck run odd like it is
what about the TPS ( throttle position senser), and is there a senser on the petal as well? a few post treads back a guy had almost same issue turned out the petal senser was dirty, he sprayed electrical spray cleaner on the contacts and senser BAM no more head ache. just a thought,p.s did you clean out the EBP and tube like Bizmic and mustang had mentioned

x2 on the Throttle Position Sensor. I think its in the cab by the petal somewhere.
You really have been given good advice earlier ...................
Clean out the EBP tube (wouldn't hurt to clean the MAP sensor hose also)
Check the IPR
Clean the turbo possibly
In my opinion, you would be wise to return it to stock and put the stock air filter back on - until you get the issue resolved. I realize that you said you have had the revving issues since before the tuner, but the tuner truly does complicate troubleshooting.
These may not totally resolve the problem, but they can be done for very little cost and can help rule out some things.
If you are uncomfortable doing these things (or hesitant as it seems) - then your best bet is take it in.
Here is the link. I reved it high and low to show that at those rpms it acts normal when I hold it at 3200 it first rramps up quick past 3k then when I hold it there it crashes then comes up crashes again and so on. But higher than 3200 its fine. It does this while driving too. Really weird to me.
I put the new sensor in and cleaned the tube I was also doing an oil change but couldn't find my oil filter I bought awhile back so I couldn't start it to see if it changed anything. So next if the ebp didn't help ill check the irp. This problem has been happening even when it was bone stock when I bought it used. The only difference is the turbo farting under load at low rpms since the intake was changed. The throttle precentage on my edge shows its working fine I can push it just a tiny bit and it will show 1% and ramp up just as smooth as I push it but the truck doesn't respond to my pushing the pedal till 4% so why is that the edge sees it work fine but the truck doesn't respond till 4 which is about 1 inch in movement?
