Catylitic Question
I have a 95 F150 with the 351. I am planning to put new exhaust on soon. My cat is bad, it rattles alot and makes noise like it is falling apart in the inside. I can not see any sensors on or around mine, for sure none after it. It is pretty expensive to replace the cat with the exhaust. I know it is illegal but we do not have any real smog laws and noone checks. What would happen if I just left it out performance wise?

Well it's like this the 351 puts out a lot of backpressure, and the cat slows down all that gas moving out quickly, so if you let if run free(er) it will then give the engine the opportunity to make more which = more power. So I say screw the treehuggers and get some blockhuggers! Headers and no cats = 
get rid of them and it will enhance it more and also give it some better sound. Hope it helps!
