Power Steering Pulley Puller
I am going to buy a pulley puller in the near future. I see a couple different styles out there.
the style that has two long arms and clamps around the pulley in two spots or the style that has the full collar style clamp.
Is one better than the other and why?

I thought you were debating which one to purchase...
I have one like second one as a kit in a plastic case. I've used it several times and it's worked well.
It also takes less space to use it. IIRC the first time I used it was to replace a vacuum pump on a 1996 7.3 Powerstroke. I used the puller on the pulley while the pump was still bolted to the engine. I don't think I could have done that with the two arm style...
