Awesome! They have that waffle board effect just like the Kentucky plates of the same period. Kentucky stamped the county name into their plates of the period.....I'll never find a set. Congrats on a great score!

Ohio allows you to register YOM (year of make) Plates.

I do not know if they will allow those to be used as they are not "truck or Farm"

I did a search and found some 1950 "farm plates"

Yeah I wasnt sure if they had different plates for cars and trucks back then. Either way I still have vintage plates for display.

Update for Bigwin- Got my 351C back from the machine shop. Still have to get the ranger rolling chassis. I will finally have that darn engine pulled when we go for the IFS swap. Cold was demotivator and the funeral slowed things down too. Build thread with lots of pics for the ranger IFS swap, soon to come.

Nice that Ohio now has YOM. A few years ago it seems they didn't and I couldn't give away nice sets of Ohio plates.

I guess truck plates are different:

Not sure how it would work today though. I know back when I had my 94 ranger, I could get non comms or car plates. I had car plates and still hauled stuff.
