That's where I was headed with the filters.. CHANGE EM! Lol. These trucks rely heavily on clean oil and clean diesel by not changing them its like lighting a fuse on a bomb. The updated "blue" spring will give a little higher fuel pressure better throttle response and piece of mind. Easy to do if you can turn a wrench.

Changing the filters is what I will do...also looked into what it would take to replace and upgrade to the blue spring and it seems simple enough.
This has to work for me because money is pretty tight at the moment and I sure need my truck to keep getting me back and forth to work.
still trying to recoup from the alt and batteries I replaced a short while back..ughhh
Word of advice... don't let the fittings that go to the fuel bowl slide down the fuel line they are a pain to get back up in place put a piece of tape or wire tie about an inch from the fitting on the fuel line then it can't slide down

LOL..had just watched a video and the guy used a zip tie to keep it from sliding down.
Appreciate that advice.
Good catch on the fuel filters livin, They need to be changed at a max of 15000 miles and the oil filter and oil needs to be changed at a max of 7500 miles, use only OEM/Racor oil and fuel filters, don't go cheap here as it will cost you big down the road. You can get them for a good price at dieselfiltersonline.com.
And if it does end up being the pump I have a spare one that is in perfect working condition I'd sell ya cheap. Its got a new filter in it too. I ran it for 500 miles before getting an air dog 2 set up
