Hows it going people. Got an interesting situation here. While driving down the highway this evening, cruise set and heater going, I wen't to pass a semi. Switched my turn signal on and all of a sudden my truck starts slowing down. The cruise shut off. Thought maybe I hit the off button by accident so I repeated the situation and the cruise shut off again. However if I turn the heater off, the signals come on and the truck stays in cruise. Any ideas? Grounding issue? I will also throw out I have flickering gauge lights on the far left side of the cluster as well now. Speedometer one flicker a few times as well. They just started flickering today. Not too big of a deal, but I do wan't to fix it ASAP.

This is typically what happens when a turn/brake bulb is blown.
As for the other stuff, check you battery terminals first. Clean them so they're nice and shiny, and make sure the other ends of the cables have a solid connection too.
That's what I have read. I will check the bulbs when I get home. As far as battery terminals go, I just switched to solder on ones a month ago and cleaned the battery posts. I am going to run through all the grounds as well. I think the heater causing it to shutoff is due to a bad ground somewhere.
Well tried the cruise on my way home. So it turns out the heater made no difference. Maybe just a coincidence. Anyways, only the passenger side signal caused the cruise to shut off. Checked the bulb when I got home and low and behold, its burnt out. Had a new bulb for it, popped it in and the signal works now. Thanks for the help. Still need to figure out the flickering cluster lights. Gonna have to pull the cluster. No big deal. Thanks again.
Glad you got it fixed, always a good feeling to find out it was just something simple. The flickering dash lights... try wiggling the dimmer switch. My 88 Bronco II did that, it was just the windings and wiper in the dimmer pot (the variable brightness control) getting all crudded up.
