Using Turn Signals while on Cruise Control?

perhaps a burned out or shorted light bulb causing feedback on the brake light circuit, and the cruise is sensing you stepped on the brakes? I've seen a few bad bulbs that feedback into the brake light circuit.

That happened to me twice on my 94 Bronco. When the rear turn signal bulb burned out, the cruise control would cancel when signaling for a lane change on the freeway! I don't know why it did that, but check out the signal bulbs and let us know what you find.
