302 camshaft

i have been looking at a lot of different camshafts for my 302, 92 f150, roller cam right now and im wondering if thats what i should stick with or is there advantages in flat tappet, im leaning toward flat tap just because of costs and give me more money for better heads.

i have come up with either going with the comp 35-512-8 or the comp 31-255-5. ive been doin a lot of research and im not good when it comes to cam specs so i looked up some specs i should lean toward and they told me i need to look for something with a duration under 210, valve lift under .500 and lobe seperation at or above 14 degrees. now what i am confused with is that is very close to the stock 302 cam if im not wrong.

if someone would give me their opinion on this i would be very greatful
