The wife was about to come home from work this afternoon! She said she started it up and it ran fine, but when she put it in reverse it almost died! Then she said she put it in to park gas on it a little put it back in reverse! Now she did say she did it fast the second time! It made it home, when I got home I started it up and put it in reverse and in drive and it did fine! These are the codes I pull up P0401 and a P0171! Any idea?

The P0401 is insuffiecient flow in the ERG system. Make sure the hoses are attached to the DPFE and that any condensation accumalated in it has not frozen if you are in a COLD location.
The P0171 indicates that the PCM has driven the bank 1 fuel injectors full rich and the HO2S says the bank is still too lean. More than likely you have a vacuum leak. Check the infamous PCV elbow in the PCV line at the back of the intake manifold.
