87 F250 2WD CL/KC

My trucks pampered twin. 1987 F250 Truck I called the guy he wants $10K for it. The turbo is a year old and so is the paint. He put the 5-speed in it and what I gathered from talking to him a dual mass flywheel. He says he bought it new here in Topeka. I thought my milage was low at 89,000.

that looks to be in pretty good shape, but personally i wouldn't pay 10k for a truck a decade newer in the same condition. low miles is great, but its still a 26 year old 2wd truck, which has probably had some long periods of sitting, which can cause various problems

but it sure does look nice!

I second that, 2wd don't hold value that well. Also you can find late 90s 4x4 dodge and fords diesesl for that kind of money. When you run in to something that old with few miles also the odometer may be wrong or tampered with or it could be a city truck that has as many hours on the engain as a 200,000 mile truck, but not the miles because of traffic. Check the cab for warn seats look at the door hinges, the pedal pads, and for slop in the shifter.
If you want the truck, make an offer for what you think it is worth in cash. if you don't get it walk away. 2000 to me would be alot for that truck.

Beautiful truck, but not 4WD, not ext cab, not Lariat, etc. All adds up to not worth it, IMO. $5K tops, and that's based on my personal experience of buying the truck in my sig for $6K (comparable mileage and condition).

Yeah, not looking to buy. Just saw it and thought I would pass the word along in case anybody is looking. Sounds like you got a good buy on your truck whiteboyslo. I paid 3k for mine. Though I wanted the reg. cab 2wd. He does have 3k in the turbo and exhaust, probably another 1,000 in the Michelins and wheels, and another 1,000 in the paint. So that's 5k right there.

Ouch, 10 grand for a 20+ year old regular cab 2wd truck? Sure it's nice... well except those rims... but still, that's way off... He doesn't want to sell it
