I found a X power chip on the back of my PCM today.
Since I have been having some trouble with the engine stuttering/shaking at highway speeds, I decided to remove it to see if it does anything.
What a difference, my Van is now slow and unable to overtake on the highway .
But the stuttering/shaking is still there. Also the long pause in gear change from 3rd to 4th. It changes to 3rd at 48 km/hr and into 4th at 70 km/hr.
Could it be the injectors or a low fuel pressure that does this stuttering?
I will mount back the X power chip tomorrow, no doubt about that
Searched the internet for information on the X-power chip.
Not much there it seems.
But it is produced by BD-Power.
Asked them a question on their website, so hopefully they will let me know what this chip does to my engine and transmission.
