C6 is vacuum modulated, no VSS/speedo required.

Gonna need the VSS operating with an electrically controlled Trans. Just curious, if it's an E-cab and was a Winnebago, isn't the back of the cab open?

No, the PCM (powertrain control module) needs the reference from the VSS, not the speedo. Might be easier to use a C6, carb and DSII dist. rather than all the wiring you'll have to do, unless you have a similar year truck you're putting everything into.

A '96 would be OBDII, maybe different, '93 is OBDI, I'm pretty sure speedo is unnecessary for trans operation, maybe someone else will chime in, but if the VSS signal did go to speedo, then to the transmission harness connector, I would think you could simply bypass the speedo.

The PCM for the E4OD trans needs a road speed signal from the PSOM. The PSOM gets it's axle speed signal from the VSS, and converts that to road speed for the PCM.
