No such thing as a 460 bellhousing until 1983. NONE! ALL 1968/82 460's came with a C6. I said the same thing in post 9.

And, 1983/97 460's came with a hydraulic clutch.

What you might have is this: DOAZ-6392-A .. 429 bellhousing, marked C9AA-6394-D

429's installed in 1968/73 Ford/Merc Passenger Cars and 1968/71 Thunderbirds only.

The round top FE is on the left & the wide top that the 351M, 429, 460 used. The small block looks similar to the 460 but the top is narrower, & and enough tis easy to spot.
