Power window problem
Power window problem
A few weeks ago i got my truck broken into and they left the wires from the stereo components everywhere and they sparked, shortly after my power windows and dimmer/interior light switch have been acting weird.
Power windows: they go up and down if you go through the alarm system but don't work at all with the buttons.
The dimmer works however when the truck is on and the engine is running the interior lights won't come on with the dimmer switch or the overhead switches.

With a happening like that, no one can tell you what's wrong.
Some one good at circuits, has the wire info, and the time to work it out is the only way you have to get it repaired.
What does your insurance company say about getting it repaired?
Time is a big part of the job.
Good luck.

Even if readers knew what year & model FORD Truck & details of "the stereo components" it would be an uphill battle guessing what thieves might have done to the wiring in your truck.
My insurance used to cover only OEM stereo components, but may pay to fix vandalism. You're on your own w/aftermarket stereo & alarm systems.
