Need Smog Pump Hoses Quick please
I live in California so that should just explain all you need to know about why. But let me explain further what happened. I was attacked by the old Gen 2 alternator! Caught fire last weekend on Super Bowl Sunday no less. Anyway, it wasn't a huge fire cause I was on it pretty quickly, trust me it could've been waaaaaayyyyy worse! Lucky I have a truck!
Anyway, I have it in a shop and they have all the parts to fix it, including the 3G alt, but both smog pump hoses that go from the pump to the "folgers can" or "coffee can" looking thing, were damaged and need replacing. I have a cousin who works at ford, and he's pulled all strings he can possibly pull and no one has these hoses.
So before I run around to pick and pulls and wasting a ton of time, I thought I'd see if any of you who've done the smog pump delete have any of these hoses left? I'm willing to pay, I just need to find some.
I'll see if I can scan the schematic sheet to show what they are, in case you don't know.
Another question I have, is it worth it to do the smog pump delete and then put it back on before I have it smogged again next time? Or is it too much of a pain to do? What are the gains, what are the losses, etc? Thanks guys!

Having experience with replacing the air/smog pump, it's a PITA to replace, there's an easy to each bolt on the front, and a hard to reach barely accessible bolt on the back between the frame and pump. So, doing the delete for a temporary thing IMO would be a pain.
Smog pump hose.... Isn't that just some goodyear hose? See if Napa or even Ace Hardware/True Value would have it that.

Some help,maybe
Hi,
I bought my stuff from PCI as in PCI Inc. - Aftermarket exhaust and emission control parts I needed the odd ball 1" diameter connectors at the cat on my 93 f250 hd ,I think they could help you .
Please note, responding to request ,no financial connection exists.
also any large exhaust shop should have this stuff in bulk ,also .Silicone or stainless flex hose .
Regards,Ed
