Smog pump question

Smog pump question
I have a 1992 f250 with a 351w. I just removed all the hoses, tubes, valves and such from the air injection system. Question is; there are 3 hoses on the smog pump, one of which I know is the inlet and I'm assuming one of the other ones is an outlet, so what is the third hose? Is it an outlet as well? I am planning on just plumbing the outlet into the inlet for now until I have time to gut the smog pump. I would really appreciate any input on this, Thanks.

I don't know about the third hose, mine only had 2. I also had the outlet plumbed to the inlet for a while, worked fine. Last week I took the pump out and gutted it by breaking the fins from the fan off and greasing the bearings up real good. Then I plugged the lines and reinstalled, now it is basically an idler.
Sure is nice having all of that crap out from under the hood!
